August Sabbath
Every August, the Crossing Community takes a deep breath and and pauses our usual worship.
Instead, Thursday evenings in August, we share neighborhood-based worship
in homes or through a trip to help at Waltham house. Details are below.
- August 5th: Leigh Foster hosts in Brighton. For directions and details, CONTACT: Leigh
- August 12th: Kieran Conroy will be hosting on the Boston Common. Please meet on the Cathedral steps at 5:45. Folks are invited to stick around for Shakespeare in the Park immediately following the service. For directions and details, CONTACT: Kieran
- August 19th: The Crossing will be hosting a trip to Waltham house, a sanctuary for homeless LGBT youth in the Boston area. For directions and details, CONTACT: Natalie
- If you'd like to host a gathering on August 26th, CONTACT Jack Jenkins
August 12th
Shakespeare in the Park
Join us at 7:00pm in the Boston Common to see Shakespeare in the Park as they perform "Othello". We will be holding a compline service at 6:00pm prior to the service (see above), but we invite you to come the show as well. Come find us in the crowd and feed your inner thespian!
