      <image:title>Our Story - radical welcome</image:title>
<image:caption>The Crossing believes that everyone belongs as part of the family of God, and welcomes all for worship and fellowship. For us, Radical Welcome is not an invitation to come in and conform to who we are, it is a holy and unpredictable invitation to bring your whole self, to change who we are because of who you are.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Story - love</image:title>
<image:caption>“The greatest of these is love.” All of the Crossing’s values stem from a belief that the greatest power is love; we believe that God is love, that we are to love each other, and that we are to love ourselves. All values flow from this love. And so whatever your Love looks like, you are honored here. We believe we are made in the image of God, and that image is Love.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Story - Relation ship</image:title>
<image:caption>The Crossing values deep and authentic relationship with God, with each other, and with oneself. Through worship, small groups, retreats, and other chances for fellowship, we work to foster and deepen our relationships. We care and attend to making our relationships healthy and whole so people can show up and be who they are authentically.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Co-treasurer I love and believe in the mission of the crossing to bring together folks of all different spiritual backgrounds and accept them as they are, welcome them to change our community, and to grow together in our love for ourselves, our world, and the divine. I love the arts; high brow, low brow, folk, fine, and everything in between. I write plays and lesson plans and dance and make collages, but I’ll try anything creative I can get my hands on. I believe budgets are moral documents and I have a background in arts administration so I am excited to bring that experience to the table as co-treasurer.</image:caption>

I love that the Crossing makes an effort to be a space for absolutely anyone not just to be welcomed but to belong, and how diverse this community is in how each of us engages with faith. I'm currently one of our co-treasurers. I can be reached at dab1998@gmail.com.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I became a member of the crossing in 2022 seeking something that I wasn’t seeing in most worship communities, and boy did I find! The commitment here to make a home for all those who walk this life is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before! And yet, rings so refreshingly true to the Gospel. I’m a solider in the Massachusetts Army National Guard (paper work and playing the drums…ask me about it!) boating fanatic, music lover, AVID gamer and SiFi geek. Let’s get to know each other! <image:title>Our Team - Michaye Ledford (they/them)</image:title>
<image:caption>Hey y'all! After searching for a space to be wholly Christian and wholly Queer, I found it in the Crossing in 2020, and have been a member ever since. I love the Crossing's mission of radical welcome, where we are empowered to be a changing community... and I also just love hanging out with the people of the Crossing. Outside of the Crossing, I knit/crochet, read, write, drink an obscene amount of Earl Grey tea, and am a cat parent to Zella (tortie) and Lester (fluff). I can be found at michaye.ledford@gmail.com</image:caption>
